Who is responsible

JRK Digital Media in the Netherlands runs superdealcheck.nl and is responsible for your data. Questions or requests: info@hokimi.com.

Without an account

• Your shopping list, quantities, budget, ticked items and chosen location are kept in your own browser (local storage). They do not reach us unless you sign in.
• When you look for nearby stores, the place or position you give is sent to our server to work out distances. We do not store it.
• Like every website, our server writes a short log of requests (IP address, page, time, browser) to keep the site secure and find faults. Logs are deleted after about 14 days.
• The store map loads its map pictures from OpenStreetMap, which sees your IP address while doing so.

Family lists

When you share your list with your family, the list (products, quantities, ticks and the items you typed yourself) is stored on our server under a secret link. Everyone who has the link can see and change it, so only send it to people you trust. No name, e-mail address or location is stored with it. A family list nobody has opened for 90 days is deleted; you can stop following it on your device at any time.

With an account

• Your e-mail address, and your name if you give one.
• Sign-in codes, stored only as a scrambled value and valid for 10 minutes, and a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 180 days.
• What you choose to keep: your saved list, regular products and favourites, products you mark as bought, your alert settings and, if you allow notifications, the address your browser gives for them.
• Which alerts we sent you, so you do not get the same one twice.
• While you are signed in, your current list is saved to your account, so the Saturday e-mail can say where it is cheapest that week. You can turn that e-mail off on the account page or with the link in every e-mail.

We use this only to give you the account and the alerts you asked for (performance of the agreement with you). We do not use it for advertising and do not build profiles.

Who else sees it

We never sell your data. It is stored on servers of our hosting provider in the EU, which also sends our e-mails. Push notifications are delivered by your browser's own push service (for example from Google, Apple or Mozilla). Nobody else receives your data, unless the law requires it.

Cookies

We use one functional cookie, and only when you sign in: it keeps you signed in. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels, so there is no cookie banner. If we ever add statistics, we will ask you first.

How long we keep it

Account data stays until you delete your account. You can do that yourself on the account page; everything linked to it is removed at once. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes, server logs after about 14 days.

Your rights

You may see, correct, download or delete your data, and object to how we use it. Mail info@hokimi.com and we answer within a month. Not happy with our answer? You can complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Changes

When the site starts doing something new with data, we update this page first. The date at the top shows the latest version.
